Alam KulKul Recognises by Bali’s Regional Government

Alam KulKul Boutique Resort recently received recognition from Bali’s regional government (Bupati Bandung) for its ongoing environmental initiatives. To date the Resort has planted more than 25,000 trees in an effort to counteract the effects of development and ‘re-green’ the island. Government officials praised AlamKulKul’s dedication and hope that other hotels will be inspired by this pro-active approach.

The Resort’s ‘Green Heart’ programme focuses on planting trees in areas that need to be replenished yet it is a concept that has received international acknowledgement. In 2010 alone, Alam KulKul has been the proud recipient of three prestigious awards for its environmental endeavours.

These include the ASEAN Green Hotel Award, PATA Grand Award and the Indonesian Green Award.
