Medals Galore For Alam KulKul’s F&B Team
The F&B team from AlamKulKul Boutique Resort brought home an impressive array of medals from the recent Nusa Dua Fiesta 2010. A number of culturally and culinary inspired competitions took place during this annual festival to showcase the artistic talents of Bali’s hospitality industry.
Alam KulKul Recognises by Bali’s Regional Government
Alam KulKul Boutique Resort recently received recognition from Bali’s regional government (Bupati Bandung) for its ongoing environmental initiatives. To date the Resort has planted more than 25,000 trees in an effort to counteract the effects of development and ‘re-green’ the island. Government officials praised AlamKulKul’s dedication and hope that other hotels will be inspired by this pro-active approach.
Sales Blitz
The team from AlamKulkul caried out its annual Sales Blitz by visiting local travel agents throughout the month of December 2010. It was an opportunity to deliver Christmas hampers to each agency as a show of appreciation for their ongoing support.
Charity Initiative for Idul Adha
Alam Kulkul Boutique Resort celebrated Idul Adha, the islamic day of sacrifice, on 17th November 2010 by donating livestock to selected orphanages and religios foundations throughout Bali. This charitable act ensured that children as well as impoverished members of the Islamic community all received a portion of fresh meat to commemorate this holy day.
Alam KulKul Supports R.O.L.E Foundation
AlamKulKul Boutique Resort recently sponsored a local charity golfing event hosted by the R.O.L.E. Foundation by providing a prize for its grand auction. The ‘Swing For The Poor’ Charity Tournament took place on 5th December 2010 to raise funds for its eco-learning programme.
Government Recognises Alam KulKul’s Environmental Commitment
AlamKulKul’s ‘Green Team’ recently met with senior local government representatives to receive an appreciation certificate for its ongoing tree planting activities. For the past 10 years the resort has taken the initiative to address the effects of rapid development by‘re-greening’ the island.
